Haryana state is located in northern India. It is bordered by Himachal Pradesh and Punjab in the north side and in the west and south side is Rajasthan is situated. The east side of Haryana is Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh and the river Yamuna is flown over here. This state is very near to the national capital Delhi. In Haryana agriculture is one of the best occupation of the people, the lands are irrigated by submersible pumps and general channel system.

Haryana has the biggest number of rural crorepatis in India. This is one of most modern states of India, and here you can see the industrial development. Haryana climate is similar to other states of India. This is very hot in summer season and very cold in winter season. The summer season is from May to June and the winter season is from December to January.

As it is said earlier the state Haryana is industrially developed one and always ready to share the national production, like 50% of motor cycles, 50% of passenger cars, 25 % of tractors, 30% of refrigerators, 20 % of the country’s export of scientific instruments, sanitary wares and bicycles. The major companies located here are Hindustan national Glass, Escorts, Maruti Udyog Limited, Alcatel, Hero Honda, Sony whirlpool India, Hindustan Machine Tools, Liberty Shoes and Bharti Telecom and Honda Motorcycle and Scotor India Limited.

In Haryana there are wide network of high proficient telecommunication facilities. Haryana has rural economy and pottery is one of the major occupations. Haryana is popular for shawls, woven work, robes or lungis and durries. Harayana shawl is always known as phulkari.

In Haryana there is rich tradition of folk music. Even villages have named after classical ragas. There are more villages have names connected to well known ragas. That is the Nandyam, Bilawala, Sarangpur, Todi, Brindabana, Jaishri, Asaveri, Hindola, Malakoshna, Gopi, Bhairavi, Malavi and Jai Vanti. The folk music in Haryana generally falls into two categories.

The integral part of Haryana theatres are decorated by the state’s cultural elements. Here theatres are usually performed in rural areas. The film industry in Haryana is developed one. Haryana always give the high priority to the expansion of electricity infrastructure; this is one of the significant inputs for the development of this state.
